A free family arts day at the Library with Altered Books: a workshop for families and all ages. Make a new art book from an old discarded one. All materials are provided, but if you have personal items such as photos that you want to use please bring them.From 1-3 in the Meeting Room taught by artists Marion Coleman and Marjorie DeQuincy. Dance performance by Decoto Aztec Dancers Ollin Anahuac from 3-4 p.m. Additional fun: a student art display of the winning posters on recycling by New Haven Unified School District Students and a tour of the Teen Mural in the teen area of the Library.
