Students from Tri-City high schools will be recognized for their work in encouraging people to vote at a ceremony on Monday, May 21.
The winners in the Y-Vote contest competition will be spotlighted at the event, which begins at 7 p.m. in the Fukaya room of the Fremont Main Library, 2400 Stevenson Blvd.
The Y-Vote contest recognizes the best multi-media presentation by high school students in inspiring participation in the voting process.
