Free Shred Day Saturday In Union City

Get all of the details on how much will be accepted, who is eligible, and the time and location.

UNION CITY, CA — It's time to clear out desk drawers and filing cabinets. The Union City Police Department is hosting its annual community shred day this Saturday.

This is open to Union City households, businesses, city employees, and families of children in the New Haven Unified School District. The limit is 4 to 6 banker boxes (box dimensions: 12.5 x 10.5 x 16.25.) Only paper is accepted, no CDs, plastic sleeves or x-rays. Paperclips and staples are OK.

You will be able to watch your documents shredded in front of you to ensure secure disposal and safety from identity theft.
