UNION CITY, CA — Do you have concerns about crime in your neighborhood? Would you like to chat with police officers about speeders or distracted drivers who almost run you over in the crosswalk? Perhaps you need information on vacations checks.

The Union City Police Department is holding Coffee with a Cop from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Starbucks located at 32340 Alvarado Blvd.

"Ask questions, share stories, and get to know each other over complimentary coffee and refreshments," the department said in an online invitation.
