James Logan High School To Be Open Friday

Threatening graffiti was found at the school on Thursday.

UNION CITY, CA — Union City Police announced Thursday night that James Logan High School will be open on Friday.

On Thursday, employees found threatening graffiti on the campus. This resulted in a precautionary lockdown of the school.

"We do not believe this to be a credible threat however, we are taking this very seriously and we continue to work closely with James Logan High School to investigate this matter," police said Thursday night. "The safety of the students and faculty is our highest priority. Additional police officers will be patrolling the area and campus during school hours."

Threatening graffiti also forced a lockdown at San Leandro High School on Wednesday. That threat was unfounded.
