Man Found Murdered In East Bay Hotel Room
The body was found at a Motel 6 just off Interstate Highway 880, the Nimitz Freeway. (Breaking)
HAYWARD, CA — A 44-year-old man was found dead Monday afternoon inside a hotel room in Hayward, just over the border from Union City, police said.
At 2:04 p.m. someone called 911 dispatchers and told them that a male victim was dead in a room at the Motel 6 at 30155 Industrial Parkway SW. Firefighters responded and pronounced the man dead at 2:07 p.m.
Police said the death is being investigated as a homicide. The homicide is the fourth this year in Hayward.

The victim's name is not being released yet. Police said right now there are no named suspects. Anyone with information about the killing is being asked to call Detective Eric Mulhern at (510) 293-3463.
