Old Alvarado/Smith St. Battlefield

Humble beginnings

Old Alvarado (aka Smith St. Farm) used to not contain the 14 Portals that it has today, but thanks to the Union City Enlightened's Recon & Detection teams we've been able to positively identify large concentrations of XM (Exotic Matter) around key structures and areas located within the park. 

The area used to only have 2 Portals in my days as an L1 Agent under the tutelage of the now M.I.A. Agent EnLTened. The first was the Post Office and the 2nd being the Union City Historical Museum.

Resistance activity in the area

At present, the Enlightened holds Union City and this vital area.. Resistance Agent Akirasan - Leader of the local insurgency - has been known to conduct attacks of the area as well as Agents from the surrounding communities of Hayward and Fremont, as well as others passing by from the Peninsula. A recent "Rolling L8 OP" where 8 Level 8 Agents upgraded the Old Alvarado Portals attracted Resistance Agents from as far as Alameda and Milpitas.

Future Developments

Our Recon & Detection teams are currently researching and scouring the area for more possible locations of future Portals and only time will tell if this will be a major cluster and highly contested area for when this War of XM reaches its peak.
