Two men charged with methamphetamine trafficking after incident near Pierron on Sept. 14 (timestribunenews.com) — One of two men charged after police seized 468 pounds of methamphetamine in Illinois is listed as living in Union City, tying a massive trafficking case back to your community. Prosecutors say the pair were stopped near Interstate 70, where a K-9 search uncovered duffel bags of drugs, and one suspect allegedly fought an officer and tried to flee on foot.
