Patelco Creates and Hires For New Position; Senior Vice President, Planning & Member Experience

PLEASANTON, Calif. – Patelco Credit Union, one of California’s largest credit unions with more than
$4 billion in assets, announces the hire of Deborah Colby as the newly created Senior Vice President, Planning & Member Experience. In the new position, Colby will have functional oversight of the Planning, Marketing, Member Experience, Digital Channel, Transformational Change Management, and Project Management teams. She will focus on unifying and empowering employees to achieve Patelco’s strategic goals and deliver desired member experiences.

Deborah has more than twenty years of experience and increasing responsibilities within the marketing and customer relationship arenas at several financial organizations. Most recently, she was the Vice President of Marketing Communications for First Tech Credit Union, where she was responsible for optimizing the enterprise brand experience, go-to-market and demand generation strategies, and played a key role in their digital transformation initiatives. Deborah’s career also includes 10 years with US Bank where she led the development and administration of retail sales and incentive programs, regional marketing strategies, and corporate social responsibility and sponsorship programs. In addition to bringing a wealth of experience, Deborah brings a passion for integrating and uniting people, communications and technology to develop, deliver and promote an unparalleled brand experience. Deborah has two Bachelor of Science degrees, Business Administration and Global Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
