Man Found Dead In Union City Street
Police are investigating the circumstances of his death.

UNION CITY, CA — A man approximately 50 years old was found dead in Union City. Police are investigating the circumstances of the man's death.
Officers were dispatched to the 4400 block of Lisa Drive just before 11 a.m. for a man in need of medical attention. They found paramedics giving CPR to the man, who was lying in the middle the street. First aid efforts were unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The victim may have been involved in some sort of dispute with family members prior to the medical call," police report in a written statement. "At this time, no cause of death has been determined and it is unknown if foul play is involved."

The man's name will be released by the Alameda County Coroner’s office after his family is notified.
Union City Police Detectives are investigating the case to determine what crime, if any, has occurred.

Police say there is no danger to the public.
