Power outages are plaguing Tri-City residents for a second day, just when they need electricity for air conditioning the most. Yesterday it was Fremont and Newark, today Fremont and Union City.

Right now, an outage that started at 5:03 p.m. is affecting 1542 customers.
PG&E simply says, "Our preliminary determination is that your outage was caused by the weather."
