Registration Underway For National Night Out 2018

Are you planning a block party in Union City. Register now, or plan to attend the organized parties at local parks.

UNION CITY, CA — On Tuesday, August 7, 2018 neighborhoods throughout Union City are being invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the “35th Annual National Night Out” (NNO) crime and drug prevention event.

From 5:30 to 7 p.m. on August 7th, residents in neighborhoods throughout Union City and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with their neighbors and public safety officers.

Union City Police Department and Alameda County Fire Department will be visiting large block parties at four locations:

Accinelli Park, Kennedy Park, Town Estates Park and Veterans Memorial Park. Each location will have activities, music, food, and entertainment. City officials will plan to stop by each event.
