Union City Partners with Coca-Cola to Remove Graffiti

Public Works Department, "Graffiti Buster," and Coca-Cola Form Partnership

On Tuesday, May 1, Union City's Public Works department, along with its "Graffiti Buster," an anonymous Public Works employee who removes graffiti from public surfaces, teamed with the Cocoa-Cola Company to remove graffiti near the city's walking trails.  Volunteers, including 40 Coca-Cola employees, worked with Public Works staff members to get rid of graffiti near Union City's pedestrian trail between Andreas Dr. and Almaden Blvd. The partnership was part of the Public Works department's community beautification efforts.
