Walmart Donates Cash, Water To Union City Police

The department has a running start on its "Shop with a Cop" annual holiday event.

Walmart has donated $5,000 in cash, plus 50 cases of water and 9 coolers to the Union City Police Department.

The water and coolers will be used at events such as the recently held National Night Out.

The cash will come in handy for Shop with a Cop during the holidays, and other outreach events.

In a social media post, the department wrote, "Manager Chalone Lucas, your partnership is always greatly appreciated."
