• Upland schools pull back 6 layoff notices for non-teaching employees (dailybulletin.com) — Upland Unified School District has reversed six planned layoffs for non-teaching staff, meaning affected employees will keep their jobs next school year. Trustees rescinded the preliminary notices after talks with employee groups, even as the district faces declining enrollment, rising costs, and earlier plans to trim staffing by about $2 million.
