• 20 Cats Rescued from Pomona Go Up for Adoption (mynewsla.com) — Upland Animal Control and the Inland Valley Humane Society searched properties in Upland and Claremont tied to a Pomona-based cat rescue, finding hundreds of cats and several dogs in what officials called inhumane conditions. To ease crowding after the operation, 20 rescued Pomona cats were moved to an spcaLA shelter in Hawthorne and are now available for adoption while the investigation continues.
