Body Found On Venice Beach Identified

VENICE, CA — Officials over the weekend, identified a 53-year-old man whose body was found on the beach in Venice.

Authorities identified the man as Timothy Hutson of North Hollywood, but investigators still don't know how he died. A cause of death has yet to be established, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

A passerby spotted Hutson's body near the 600 block of Ocean Front Walk at about 7 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The caller reported a man with a possible injure, but when firefighters arrived at the location, they found him dead, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

His body was lying on the sand close to the shoreline.
