Crews Douse Garage Fire In Venice
Los Angeles firefighters Tuesday made quick work of the blaze, which remains under investigation.
VENICE, CA — A garage fire that damaged a home in Venice Tuesday afternoon remains under investigation, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters made quick work of the blaze that broke out just before 1:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of South Walnut Avenue. It took them 14 minutes to put out the fire after arriving to find a detached garage engulfed in flames, according the fire officials.
There were no injuries in the fire, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey. Authorities did not release an estimate for the damage done.
