House Erupts In Flames In Mar Vista

MAR VISTA, CA -- One person was evaluated for injuries outside a house fire Sunday in Mar Vista, as the flames were quickly doused by firefighters.

Firefighters were dispatched at 8:10 a.m. to the one-story home in the 11700 block of West Woodbine Street. They had the fire out within 11 minutes, said Amy Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One person was being evaluated at the scene by paramedics, Bastman said.
