Over 1,000 Lose Power In Venice

VENICE, CA — A power outage in Venice affected 1,117 customers Friday morning, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

The outage was reported at 10:34 a.m. in the area of Shell Avenue and Palms Boulevard. A crew was on site and working to resolve the issue as of 10:46 a.m.

It was not immediately known what triggered the outage.

LADWP estimated that customers could expect to see their power back by 12:30 p.m.
