PLATFORM SHOPPING CENTER OPENING SOON IN CULVER CITY

Platform opening soon!

Shopping in Los Angeles is plentiful but new shopping centers are always a hit and Culver City’s newest shopping center is no exception. Platform (8840 Washington Blvd) is a shopping center opening this spring in Culver City. The Runyon Group is taking a 4 acre former auto dealership directly across the street from the Expo line stop in the Hayden Tract and transforming it into a creative center of 8 different spaces all connected by gardens. Some of the hottest retailers have already signed up for leases including Magasin which is run by former Bloomingdale’s mens’s fashion director Josh Peskowitz. This store joins Velvet by Graham & Spencer, Curve, Parabellum, Kilter and SoulCycle (which is already open). This won’t just be a destination for shopping but also for some unique eateries like The Cannibal, Loqui and Thoroughbred. With the Expo line extending to Santa Monica in just a few months, this is a great stop! Platform is scheduled to open in Spring 2016 and you can visit their website to see all the stores that will be opening up there and more.
