Solters, a graduate of the prestigious University of Southern California School of Theatre, continues her mission of bringing sex to the forefront in a positive, fun, supportive light, especially with strong female characters like Sarah. “I’m starting a dialogue so people know there is no shame in owning your sexuality,” said Solters.

Since the show is a comedy, a large audience is reached by focusing on the laughter rather than the "taboo.” Maxie’s hope is that eventually everyone can be as comfortable saying words such as vagina, penis, and vibrator as they are talking about what they ate for breakfast.

The concept for Maxie's videos is the result of years working with V-Day International, a global organization that raises awareness and funds to stop violence against women and girls. Maxie founded her own branch, V-Day Studio City, through which she produces and performs in The Vagina Monologues on an annual basis. Her goal is to increase consciousness, support survivors, and procure funds for A Window Between Worlds and Peace Over Violence, local non profits working to stop sexual and domestic violence.

During her time at the University of Southern California, Maxie organized a special V-Day event featuring Eve Ensler (activist/author/playwrite of “The Vagina Monologues”) interviewing Dr. Denis Mukwege of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and attended by over 1,000 people. Multiple Peace Prize winner (nominated 3x for the Nobel Peace Prize), Mukwege specializes in the treatment of women who have been gang-raped by rebel forces.

Giving back to the community is also an important part of Adam & Eve's culture. What motivated you to create CLIMAX! The Series: "I've been acting for as long as I can remember, putting on full staged productions in my living room from an early age. In the past few years, I've had a mental shift about what serves me creatively. I was tired of waiting for someone else to cast me in a project, tired of driving across town at 4:30pm on a Friday for an audition to say one word on a network TV show."

"I decided that I was going to be in charge of my career and my life, and that’s when I started generating original content. CLIMAX! has been a roller coaster journey and I wouldn't change it for the world. Watching my dream become a reality is the greatest accomplishment and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to persevere and continue creating."

Has the role bled over into your real life at all with friends asking you questions? “Yes! I've become the go to non-licensed sex therapist for all my friends. Just the other day, one of my girlfriends texted me to ask about a good non-toxic lube. Another wanted tips on how to spice up her bedroom life and reach orgasm consistently. I've given demonstrations of some of my favorite positions that are a little less standard using pens, silverware, or other household items. Whatever works, right?!”

Maxie Solters has been performing since the ripe old of age five when she played Gretl in a local production of The Sound of Music. She is a USC School of Theatre graduate and trained with the renowned Groundlings, Upright Citizens Brigade, John Rosenfeld, and Lesly Kahn.
