Tinkering Club After School Program Launches at reDiscover Center

Tinkering Club is an after school drop-in program for tinkerers age 7-12. Kids use real tools and real materials to solve real problems. Tinkerers will be able to attend the workshop and weekly classes with a day pass or with a monthly Unlimited Pass.

Tinkering Club empowers your child to learn or improve construction skills and familiarity with hand and power tools in a free form environment. Kids follow their own explorations or respond to Design Challenges. Tinkering Club is facilitated but unguided. An adult to child ratio of 1:5 ensures a safe environment and allows for real tools and real construction materials in reDiscover Center’s newly renovated and expanded workshop. Members and visitors can join in scheduled classes on everything from clamp sculptures to sewing to furniture design.

Tinkering Club is for kids ages 7-12. Tinkering Club is open 3:00-6:00 PM, M-F, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sat and Sun. You can purchase a $20 day pass or pay $150/month for an Unlimited Pass.
