Venice Apartment Damaged in Morning Fire

No one was hurt in a fire that damaged a Venice apartment building Monday.

VENICE, CA — An apartment building in Venice was damaged by fire Monday, but no one was hurt in the blaze.

Firefighters were sent to the 2200 block of South Strongs Drive at 7:24 a.m.Monday. Crews extinguished the flames in 28 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
