Name of the person who nominated the hero:
Felicia Rosenfeld
Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:
No
What does the nominee do for work?:
Every week Adam delivers pies to friends, colleagues and first responders
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Pie makes things better. My husband's company delivers pies to certain staff members each week. We have adopted this tradition and now deliver pies to friends and local first responders. Adam, our younger son, whose job at the Broad Stage came to an abrupt halt when the theater closed in mid-March, delivers the pies all over LA County. Along with the pies are smiles, supportive words and a little human contact--all while practicing social distancing!
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Adam is only 23 and yet he is one the most caring, empathetic and compassionate people I know. His life mission is making people feel better. He approaches this with the maturity of a person with much more life experience, and without ego. I am so proud of Adam as he embodies what a citizen and member of a community really means.
Thank you for all you do, Adam!
