Venice Power Outage Leaves Thousands in the Dark
More than 2,000 customers in Venice are without power due to downed power lines.

Power was knocked out today to more than 2,000 Department of Water and Power customers in Venice when wires blew down.
The wires blew down at 1501 Lincoln Blvd. at 5:37 p.m., said the agency’s Carol Tucker.

There was no estimate when power would be restored, but Tucker said she expected it would be by the end of the night.
