LOS ANGELES, CA - The holidays are fast approaching, and if you are like me, you'll spend the next month on-the-go, fighting the holiday shopping crowds. When you get a chance to catch your breath and grab a bite to eat, the last thing you want to think about is the health inspection grade of your favorite restaurant...but vermin infestations, sewage backups, and the lack of hot water are all good reasons to see if your favorite restaurant is on the naughty list.
They're making the list, and we are checking it twice. Here are the latest Los Angeles County Health Department restaurant closures leading into the holiday season.
Once again, vermin infestation is the primary culprit behind restaurant closures in the area. If you see your favorite eatery on the list, it means the county health department closed the restaurant until it cleaned up its act. In most cases, it doesn't take more than a few days to get into compliance.
