Woman Pinned by Car that Ran into Bookstore

The woman was in fair condition when taken to a hospital for treatment.

A woman suffered minor injuries when she was struck by a car that hit the front of a Barnes & Noble store in Del Rey Saturday.

The crash happened about 3:05 p.m. in the 13400 block of Maxella Avenue, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The woman was in fair condition when taken to a hospital for treatment, he said.

The woman was pinned between the vehicle and the building, according to CBS2.

Scott said the building sustained only minor damage.
