Man Injured in Visalia Pedestrian Crash on Mooney Boulevard (pacificattorneygroup.com) — A man was critically injured late Friday night after running across northbound Mooney Boulevard near Sunnyside Avenue in Visalia and being struck by a car, according to police. Officers were already in the area for a DUI saturation patrol, and the driver, who was not impaired, stopped and cooperated. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
   

2. Stitched Up and Prepared for Bigger Things (thecampusjournal.com) — College of the Sequoias students in Visalia can now get free, brand-new professional outfits for job interviews through Giant Threads, a clothing closet that’s moved into a permanent shop on the Visalia campus near Mooney Boulevard. Fashion students staff the closet, helping classmates choose interview-ready looks after they complete résumé and mock-interview workshops, with appointments available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
