• 2 Men Receive 3 Life Sentences for 2020 Murder of 3 Visalia Teens (kmjnow.com) — Two men have been sentenced in Tulare County to three life terms without parole for the 2020 robbery and killing of three Visalia teenagers near Golden West. Families of the victims say the ruling brings some relief after years of court hearings, though they still face another trial for the alleged shooter and continue pushing for full justice. 
• These 97 Car Dealers Were Warned About 'Deceptive' Pricing By The FTC (motor1.com) — Visalia Hyundai is among 97 dealerships nationwide that recently received warning letters from the Federal Trade Commission about potentially deceptive vehicle pricing practices. The FTC says it wants dealers, including the Visalia store, to ensure advertised prices clearly include all mandatory fees so local buyers aren’t surprised by higher costs at the showroom.
• Two, including 10-year-old boy, killed in collision with speeding fire truck (latimes.com subscription) — A CAL FIRE engine from the Tulare Unit based in Visalia was involved in a deadly collision Friday while responding to a small wildfire near Hemet, killing a San Jacinto driver and a 10-year-old boy. Three firefighters were evaluated and released from a local hospital, and investigators say drugs or alcohol are not suspected as they continue to examine how the crash happened.
