Discover the art of Beginning Inkle Weaving and learn how to create beautiful woven bands using a traditional Inkle loom. In this hands-on class, students will be introduced to loom setup, warping techniques, color pattern planning, and basic weaving methods while creating their own decorative band.
Inkle woven bands can be used for key fobs, straps, belts, trim, bag handles, bookmarks, and other creative projects. This beginner-friendly class is designed for students with little to no weaving experience and provides a fun introduction to this historic fiber art tradition.
A handout will be provided, and all supplies (loom, yarn, and weaving materials) are included at no additional cost.
