• Sydney Barta breaks her own American record (stanforddaily.com) — A standout track performance just took place in our own backyard, as Stanford sprinter Sydney Barta broke her own T64 American record in the 200m at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut. Racing in warm Southern California conditions, she clocked 26.37 seconds, celebrated mid-flight with teammates, and now turns her focus to upcoming meets and a future Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford.
