5 Accused Lululemon Store Thieves Arrested

Police credit an alert witness who gave them a description of the getaway car following the grab-and-run theft — $7600 in merchandise.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A grab-and-run theft had a captured-and-booked ending, thanks to the Walnut Creek Police Department and an eyewitness who provided officers with vital information.

Police say the accused got away with $7600 in merchandise from the Lululemon store in Broadway Plaza.

A witness gave police a description of the vehicle that fled the scene. Police say this exact same vehicle had been involved in a $4,000 theft from Lululemon just a week earlier.

WCPD's Special Enforcement Team caught up with the vehicle and the five suspects at a gas station in Antioch.

These four suspects and a juvenile were arrested on suspicion of grand theft, burglary, and conspiracy: Unique Evans, Samir Gray, Dewayne Harris and Erynn Chavis. All are Antioch residents.
