The discussion will focus on healthcare access, insurance coverage, prescription drug costs, and recent federal policy changes that could affect patients and providers.

Residents will have an opportunity to submit questions during the meeting, which will be streamed online through Zoom and YouTube.

DeSaulnier, whose congressional district includes Concord, Martinez, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Richmond, and surrounding communities, regularly hosts virtual town halls on federal issues affecting local residents.

Healthcare has remained a major topic in Congress this year as lawmakers debate Medicaid funding, prescription drug pricing, and insurance affordability.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration information is available on DeSaulnier's congressional site.
