Armed Robber Forces Walnut Creek Woman To Drive To Bank, Withdraw Money
The female told officers she was approached by the man while she was in her front yard on Muller Road.

A Walnut Creek woman reported being taken from her front yard today by an armed male, who forced her to drive to her bank and withdraw money, according to the Walnut Creek Police.
At approximately 11:55 am, the Walnut Creek PD received a 911 call from the female victim, who said she was confronted in her yard on the 400 block of Muller Road by a man with a gun, police said.
The suspect forced the victim to drive to a Bank of America branch in downtown Walnut Creek where she withdrew money, police said.

The suspect and the woman drove back to her neighborhood where she was released unharmed, according to police.

Investigators are also seeking video footage from exterior home security cameras in the area of Lakewood Road around the time of this incident.
