WALNUT CREEK, CA — If you love Japanese comfort food, there's a new place to try in Walnut Creek.

Kokolo Donburi & Bar has opened at 1251 S. California Blvd., where Baja Fresh used to be.

Kokolo was recently featured by the Bay Area News Group which highlighted its curry tonkatsu, described as fried pork or chicken with a house curry sauce served over rice or udon noodles.
