The 4th annual Pleasant Hill One Warm Coat Drive returns on Sunday, November 29, collecting coats for neighbors in need across Contra Costa County.
Last year, the community donated more than 190 coats. This year, organizers hope to beat that number. Every coat collected goes to White Pony Express, a local nonprofit that delivers essentials to families and individuals throughout the county.
Residents can drop off coats anytime between 9 AM and noon at Cumberland Drive and Stratford Court. Look for the Compass tent. Fresh donuts and coffee will be served.
What to bring:
- Clean, gently used coats and jackets
- All sizes, adults and kids
- Kids’ and XL coats are especially needed
- Please wash items before donating, and no stained or torn items
Can’t make it on the day? Porch pickups are available for residents away over Thanksgiving weekend. Text Steven Potts at 925-444-0377 to arrange a pickup.
The drive is hosted by Steven Potts of Compass, a Pleasant Hill area real estate advisor.
