In 2004 Congress declared a Day of the Horse -officially and annually held on Dec 13th- to honor the animal that helped build our country. The Equestrian Center of Walnut Creek invites the public to join us as we celebrate the Day of the Horse at our riding arenas on Sunday Dec 11th with a Western BBQ for $10 and free entertainment with mini horse trick and horse riding and driving demonstrations. Come watch as trail riders - local horsemen and women- arrive into our arenas from a ride over Mt Diablo via the Lime Creek Open Space to the arenas. The snack shack will also be open with hotdogs, drinks and candy. This will be a perfect holiday outing for your entire family. Go to www.ecwc.org for more info!
