Proposal Writing Basics with San Francisco Foundation Center

As a partner in the Foundation Center’s network of cooperating collections, the Walnut Creek Library will be the hosting site of a series of three free workshops focused on the basics of fundraising. All workshops take place from 4 -6 PM in the Oak View Room at the library, located at 1644 N. Broadway.

The second workshop in the series, “Proposal Writing Basics”, is slated for Thursday, February 23. This workshop focuses on what content to include in a standard proposal as well as tips for strengthening content. Insights into what expectations funding sources have when proposals are reviewed will also be offered. The Foundation Center also offers a number of other workshops for nonprofit managers, including developing fundraising plans, budgeting and securing corporate partnerships.
