Raising Fruits & Vegetables in Small Spaces

On Wednesday, November 17, the Contra Costa Master Gardeners will present a free lecture on how to grow fruits and vegetables in small spaces.  The lecture will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in Oak View Room on the second floor of  the Walnut Creek Library, located at 1644 N. Broadway in Walnut Creek. CCMG Terry Lippert will expertly guide the audience through the steps they need to take to create raised beds, start container gardening and grow espalier fruit trees.  Plenty of time will be allowed for questions following the lecture.  Attendees will leave with the know-how necessary to apply compact edible gardening methods to their own small spaces.
