Nursery Manager Laura Hogan will be demonstrating the construction of three types of container gardens during this class. Class handouts will include guidelines for plants that work well together as well as creative container suggestions. All class participants will make a dish garden to take home!
Laura currently directs the assembly of succulent container gardens in The Ruth Bancroft Garden Nursery and previously designed container gardens for sale for many years at the UC Botanical Garden in Berkeley. She is a semi-retired award-winning industrial/graphic designer, worked in design in Japan for two years, and has been active in floral arranging with succulents for various non-profit organizations for over fifteen years.
