"The Art of Caregiving" Seminar

This educational seminar, which offers two professional continuing education units, is also open to family members who want to learn about the latest treatments and strategies in caring for those with dementia. Distinguished experts Dr. Sally Sample, chief medical officer, Hospice of the East Bay, and Dr. Mark Fry, executive director of Chateau III, will define types of dementia, review statistics and prevalence for these various types, describe the types of neuropsychiatric behaviors, and offer the latest information about treatment for difficult behaviors including non-pharmacological and classes of pharmacological treatments.
