CALIFORNIA — Subway is revamping its menu Tuesday with The Eat Fresh Refresh, changing ingredients and introducing new sandwiches. To entice customers, the chain is giving away one million free sandwiches nationwide at participating restaurants.

The first 50 people between 10 a.m. and noon at each participating restaurant will get a free six-inch Turkey Cali Fresh sub upon request. The sandwich has oven roasted turkey, hickory smoked bacon, smashed avocado, mozzarella, mayo, spinach, red onions, and tomatoes on freshly baked multigrain bread. "Extras additional. No additional discounts/coupons applied."

"Subway has been serving freshly made, customizable and better-for-you sandwiches for more than 50 years, and we wanted to give our guests more new and improved flavors," said Trevor Haynes, President, North America at Subway in a news release. "Our new culinary team is delivering monumental updates to the entire core menu. The Eat Fresh Refresh makes Subway better than ever with freshly made, craveable and delicious sandwiches to excite new and returning guests."
