Get Outta Town! Southwest Airlines 'Flash Sale' Ends Thursday

Southwest Airlines is hold a flash sale that ends June 4 with one-way fares as low as $49.

Travel dates are Aug. 25 through Dec. 16, with one-way sale fares at $49, $99, $129 and $199.

Among the best of these one-way deals:

• From SFO to Chicago at $129
• San Jose to Las Vegas at $49
• Sacramento to San Diego - $49
• Oakland to Spokane for $99
• Or even better Oakland to Los Angeles for $49.

Heads up, though. There are some blackout dates, and online booking is slow, VERYslow, at present. The bookings must be made by Thursday, June 4. But the savings may be worth it, so hang in there and remember: Patience is a virtue.
