How to Get Stanford University on Your Resume in a Weekend
No fudging—you can show potential employers that you're serious about leadership skills and staying ahead of the curve.

Getting into Stanford University is daunting. For the incoming freshmen class of 2014-15, more than 42,000 hopefuls applied for the 2,000 openings. That’s an admission rate of just 5 percent.
But you can still slip Stanford University onto your resume, and perhaps into your cover letter, through the university’s Continuing Studies department. Many classes are taught online, and some can be completed in just one day.
This weekend, for example, two classes are offered. “Women Leaders: Mastering Influence, Authenticity and Power” is a two day class, while “Presentation Tools” will be completed in just one day. Both classes are full, but you get the idea of how powerful this can be for your future.
