More Than 21K Customers Without Power In Bay Area
In the East Bay, numbers are at 9,000, and 2,900 are in the North Bay.

More than 21,000 PG&E customers are without power in the Bay Area this morning because of a large storm blowing through the region, utility officials said.
At least 37,000 customers have lost power at some point since the storm hit the region overnight and around 21,200 remained without power as of 6:45 a.m., PG&E spokesman Nick Stimmel said.
Of the customers still without power, about 9,000 are in the East Bay, 5,700 are on the Peninsula, 2,900 are in the North Bay, 2,800 are in the South Bay and about 800 are in San Francisco, Stimmel said.

PG&E crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power to the affected customers, he said
