New Latin Caribbean Restaurant LITA Opens In Walnut Creek

Creations include mojito lime shrimp ceviche, mojo verde skirt steak, and a lobster corndog described as a poached and battered lobster tail

WALNUT CREEK, CA — LITA is livening up downtown Walnut Creek, and Instagram, with its Latin Caribbean cuisine and lively bar scene.

LITA opened two weeks ago and has turned its Instagram page into a drool-worthy gallery of food and beverages.

Entries include "Mojito Lime Shrimp Ceviche. White shrimp, lime, mint, avocado, Serrano, micro cilantro, crispy corn nuts, and burnt white rum."

"Lobster Corn Dog. Poached & Battered Maine Lobster tail, served with spicy Caribbean ketchup."

The restaurant has also posted some lively videos that make the place look irresistible.

LITA has lunch and dinner menus, as well as seven categories of food: starters, ceviches, empanadas, tacos, shareables, salads and dessert.

Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. LITA closes at 8 p.m. on Sundays.
