Traffic Reminder: San Mateo Bridge Will Be Closed Memorial Weekend

News from Caltrans:

Caltrans and the California Highway Patrol will close the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge over Memorial Day weekend to complete important construction projects on the span.

The San Mateo-Hayward Bridge will be CLOSED from:
Friday, May 22, 2015 at 10:00 PM to
Monday, May 25, 2015 at 5:00 AM

ALTERNATE ROUTES:
- San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge (I-80)
- Dumbarton Bridge (SR-84)
- SR-237 (No Tolls)

Expect delays across alternate toll bridges, and plan extra time into your travel schedule.

During this closure, Caltrans will resurface and treat the deck structure of the bridge, as well as perform routine maintenance to prolong the service life of the bridge.

SR-92 E/B will be closed from Foster City Boulevard.
SR-92 W/B will be closed from Clawiter Road.
