Walnut Creek Police Report Spike in Vehicle Burglaries
For the second time this month, a warning about car break-ins.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek Police are again warning residents about an increase in vehicle burglaries.
In a written release, police report, "We have been experiencing a recent increase in auto burglaries, you can help put a stop to this by ensuring your vehicle is locked, no valuables are in plain sight, and by calling us if you see something (or someone) suspicious."
Police remind residents that auto burglaries are generally a crime of opportunity. They recommend the following tips:
