Walnut Creek Woman Arrested For Auto Theft, More

She also had a felony arrest warrant from another city.

MILPITAS, CA — Two individuals were arrested Thursday in Milpitas after an officer found them with a stolen vehicle, police said.

At 7:57 a.m., an officer spotted an unoccupied silver 2015 Toyota Yaris in the parking lot of the Best Value Inn located on South Main St.

The officer checked the vehicle's license plate and discovered that the car was reported stolen from San Jose on Dec. 12. During surveillance of the scene, the officer saw three individuals approach and enter the vehicle.

The officer made contact with the group and identified two of the individuals as Quang Huu Vinh Le, 38, of Hayward, and Elizabeth Joan Titsworth, 27, a transient from Walnut Creek.

According to police, Le was allegedly found in possession of 11 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and an altered check.

Titsworth allegedly gave a false identity to the officer and was in possession of a fake ID card. She also had a felony warrant out for her arrest from the San Pablo Police Department, police said.

Le and Titsworth were booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of numerous offenses including automobile theft.

The third individual, a woman, was released from the scene, police said.
