1 Killed In Monterey County Highway Crash
Three other people were transported to local hospitals, two with major injuries.

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA -- All lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101 in unincorporated Monterey County are now open after a multiple-vehicle collision that killed at least one person closed the highway early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the collision located just south of the junction with state Highway 156 was reported around 1:15 a.m. and involved at least two vehicles. All lanes were reopened around 4:30 a.m.
Three other people were transported to local hospitals, two with major injuries.
