2 Arrested After Shooting, Crash Along Hwy 101
BREAKING: A third suspect eluded officers in the incidents that unfolded in Monterey County.
MONTEREY COUNTY, CA – Two of three men wanted in a shooting Tuesday on U.S. Highway 101 were arrested after a pursuit that ended with a crash in Gonzales, Monterey County sheriff's officials said.
Daniel Jimenez Patino, 19, and Ricardo Alfredo, 23, were arrested in connection with the shooting on northbound U.S. Highway 101 at Gloria Road just south of Gonzales city limits, sheriff's officials said.
The gunfire didn't result in serious injuries, according to sheriff's officials.

Deputies found and pursued the suspects, who led a chase that stopped at Fifth Street in Gonzales where they crashed into an embankment, sheriff's officials said.
Patino and Alfredo were identified as suspects in the shooting and arrested. Deputies searched the car where they found a loaded assault rifle and a handgun, sheriff's officials said.

Investigators are looking into whether the freeway shooting was related to an earlier shooting in King City, according to sheriff's officials.
A third man, 34-year-old Gerardo Lazo of King City, had not been located as of Wednesday afternoon, according to sheriff's officials.
The outstanding suspect is believed to be armed and dangerous, sheriff's officials said.
